The genesis of the Schools was the Aimeel Preparatory School also known as A.P.S., which was founded in the year 2014. The founders of the school envisage a premier educational institution committed to high-quality education through excellent dissemination of knowledge, development of skills and competence as well as nurturing of every individual learner’s talents.

The founders of the school were on a mission to satisfy or quench the growing thirst for affordable high-quality education in the region and nation. They looked forward to catalyzing and inspiring the provision of a good education through the best practices that help bring out the very best young citizens in terms of Knowledge, Attitude, Skills, and Habits (K.A.S.H.). This conviction led to the birth of Aiming at Extra Ordinary Excellence in Life, (AIMEEL), the name of the school, to inspire all and power the vision of the founders.

The School was commissioned and dedicated by the Ruiru Sub-county Director of Education, Madam Roselyene Litaba, and Rev. David Njuguna Wanyoike on 4th January 2014. The School has since continued to present candidates for the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (K.C.P.E.) national examinations for seven consecutive seasons, with sterling individual and overall performance results.

The humble beginning was marked by the admission of seven (7) learners in then semi-permanent school structures, during the nostalgic inaugural school assembly on Monday 13th January 2014. 

The commitment of the founders and School Management realized a commendable niche in the otherwise very competitive environment, the birth and growth of a center of excellence that bears witness to the exponential growth and show of confidence, as evidenced by a population of over one thousand (1000) learners.
